Key Responsibilities- Business Strategy
- Work closely with Flagship Ventures leadership to develop and continuously evolve a robust strategy across platform roadmap, go-to-market model, and business development to maximize value creation
- Collaborate with Flagship Ventures leadership to evaluate and implement business model innovations across value pool and partnership opportunities
- Proactively identify and conduct due diligence on platform expansion opportunities
- Build financial models to forecast revenue projections, refine business case, and guide Flagship Ventures' commercial growth initiatives
- Business Development
- Work closely with Flagship Ventures leadership to source attractive, value-creating BD opportunities
- Collaborate with Flagship Ventures leadership and technical team to drive evaluation of strategic partnerships and opportunities to leverage our platform
- Design and maintain a roadmap of potential business opportunities for Flagship Ventures
- Work with Flagship Ventures leadership and internal counsel to structure, negotiate and close different types of partnerships
- Drive proactive, ongoing surveillance and market analysis to create new opportunities for Flagship Ventures' current platform capabilities, which includes identifying and cultivating partnership opportunities with companies who can utilize, expand, and capitalize on Flagship Ventures' platform
- Business Intelligence
- Maintain an up-to-date view on industry trends and competitive landscape among relevant generative AI startups and generative AI efforts being pursued by large companies
- 5+ years of professional experience, including in business strategy, go-to-market strategy, and business development
- 2+ years of top-tier management consulting experience or a similar managerial role
- Ability to meld technical understanding, market insights, and competitive intelligence into compelling, value-creating strategies
- Ability to plan and execute complex projects, and work with diverse stakeholders
- Passionate about the latest trends in generative AI and their applications to product innovation
- Solution-oriented, first-principles problem solver
- Strong project management and facilitation skills
