Key Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with the Faculty Co-Directors and Faculty Executive Committee to develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans, identifying potential roadblocks that may hinder their execution.


• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for faculty and other stakeholders, providing information and support for the Institute's work.


• Foster and maintain connections across local and national quantum ecosystems, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.


• Contribute to the identification and prioritization of new opportunities for fundraising from corporate, government, and philanthropic sources, working in collaboration with the Alumni Affairs & Development (AAD) Office to build long-term support for the Initiative.


• Oversee all operational areas, including finance, human resources, IT, space management, program development, and staff management, ensuring the effective management and motivation of a team of programmatic and administrative staff.


• Provide guidance and oversight to the Education Director, supporting the development, growth, and execution of the Institute's educational programs, including the Quantum Science and Engineering PhD program and undergraduate programs.


• Assist in the coordination and writing of grant proposals, including education/training grants, center grants, equipment grants, and other HQI-centric programmatic grants, as well as supporting the execution of funded proposals.


• Align with Harvard's commitment to increasing diversity in STEM fields, promoting inclusive practices and opportunities.
