Job Overview

The Maintenance/Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting maintenance operations through effective management of inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of tasks related to computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo and SAP PM.
  • Manage the Raritan SAP PM/MAXIMO database efficiently.
  • Procure parts and supplies for engineering projects as required.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors to streamline ordering processes and ensure ongoing support.
  • Monitor inventory levels and generate reports concerning supplies and stockroom status.
  • Oversee the uniforms and lockers program for site personnel.
  • Engage with employees and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
Additional Responsibilities:

Support various projects within Maintenance and Engineering, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives and process improvement efforts.

Work collaboratively with departments such as Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Warehouse on a routine basis.

Ensure compliance with gowning requirements for manufacturing areas, as necessary.

Ability to work in bio-hazardous environments and clean rooms is essential.

Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. The individual must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Additional tasks may be assigned based on organizational needs at management's discretion.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Technical or Associate's Degree or equivalent experience of at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting is required.
