As a vital member of our Product Support Team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the strategy and roadmap for our Moderation team. In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with essential partners such as Product, Legal, Anti-abuse, and Community to cultivate safe customer experiences. We seek an experienced leader in marketplace moderation who is passionate about fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.

This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely within the United States or from one of our designated hubs.
Your Responsibilities at Figma:

  • Establish the moderation strategy for our community marketplace and future offerings.
  • Oversee a team of community platform specialists, driving operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to Figma's legal responsibilities and community guidelines.
  • Provide insights on the team's impact and the business's operational rhythm.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product Support, Legal, Anti-abuse, Security, Community, and Product.
We would love to connect with you if you possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Background in moderation or trust and safety.
  • Experience in drafting or collaborating on moderation policies.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, DSA, DMCA, and related regulations.
While not mandatory, it would be advantageous if you also have:
  • Experience within a company or team that operates a public marketplace.
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors.

Compensation Transparency:

If you are based in Figma's designated hub offices, the annual base salary range for this role is outlined below.

Job level and actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including individual qualifications assessed during the interview process (such as skills and relevant experience, potential impact, and role scope), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range serves as a guideline and may be adjusted. For remote roles, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of the range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for further details.
