As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and building relationships with potential candidates
  • Meeting with clients and candidates to understand their needs and preferences
  • Matching candidates with job orders that meet their requirements
  • Maintaining relationships with placed consultants throughout their employment lifecycle
  • Adhering to weekly performance expectations to pre-qualify active and passive IT professionals
  • Developing and utilizing staffing strategies to identify qualified candidates and potential clients
  • Evaluating candidates' strengths compared to clients' requirements
  • Negotiating wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment
  • Conducting pre-employment checks and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of consultants and contacts to respond to client needs
  • Providing accurate and well-documented information on activity and communicating effectively with others

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
  • Entry-level sales experience through internships, civic or community organizations, or other work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive, hard-working, and high-achieving mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
