Job Title: Head of Business Development

Convera Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development to lead our business development efforts in the US market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Business Development Managers to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales reports to ensure accurate tracking of business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
