Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing scientific partnerships at prestigious institutions and spearheading collaborative initiatives that lead to publications, external grant proposals, and patent submissions.
- Establishing and nurturing robust collaborative relationships with influential thought leaders in the field.
- Working alongside internal development teams and research collaborators to evaluate and test prototypes and new products, ensuring the successful integration of innovative technologies and workflows at customer sites.
- Keeping stakeholders informed about United Imaging's advancements and technologies.
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing research agreements with assistance from legal and regulatory teams.
- Monitoring project milestones and deliverables effectively.
- Communicating efficiently with colleagues and leadership within United Imaging.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in radiotherapy (clinical or industry) is essential. Preferred candidates will have research experience in IGRT, artificial intelligence, adaptive radiotherapy, automated treatment planning, MRgRT, etc., along with a proven track record of scientific publications.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, complemented by a proactive attitude.
- Ability to take initiative and lead projects within a multidisciplinary global team.
- A strong desire to learn, ask questions, and be resourceful in identifying innovative applications and creative solutions to complex challenges.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including occasional international trips.
