- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide administrative support to supervisors and staff, including scheduling appointments, making phone calls, and sending emails.
- Assist with special projects and events, such as conferences, meetings, and training sessions.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and initiatives, ensuring compliance and adherence.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a government or educational setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent may be substituted for 6 months of administrative experience.
- Experience: 2 years of administrative experience may be substituted for 1 year of education.
The salary for this position is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.
