Dell Careers is looking for a highly skilled Wireless Hardware Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Wireless Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for leading the innovation, design, and development of RF sub-systems and solutions for wireless communication in our devices. This role involves strategic planning, innovative design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class wireless performance.

Our Business Operations team within Business Support develops solutions to current and future challenges. We support activities ranging from marketing and manufacturing to maintenance and more. From analyzing, evaluating, and documenting requirements through to specifying solutions, we strive to improve processes and maximize potential.

In this role, you will collaborate with Engineering Design Groups (EDG) and System Architects (SA) to design and optimize platform-level performance strategies. You will drive suppliers and ODM partners to execute front-end design concepts and support development/executions teams. Your extensive knowledge in EM or RF theory and knowledge around RF interference components and sub-systems in a PC or tablet product will enable you to successfully integrate multi-radio solutions such as Cellular/GPS/Wi-Fi/BT/NFC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the innovation, design, and development of RF sub-systems and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class wireless performance.
  • Design and optimize platform-level performance strategies.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in EM or RF theory and knowledge around RF interference components and sub-systems in a PC or tablet product. Proven track record of successful project delivery with the integration of multi-radio solutions such as Cellular/GPS/Wi-Fi/BT/NFC technologies is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.
