Lead Hardware Systems Engineer

Estimated Salary Range$150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Oversee the design, development, and testing of all hardware systems, including flight control systems, navigation systems, propulsion systems, sensor systems, cargo systems, GCS, GSE, and communication systems.
- Component Selection and Qualification: Ensure the balance of performance, cost, and manufacturability for hardware components, conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments as needed.
- Project Management: Create comprehensive hardware development plans and schedules, ensuring timely project delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Tech Leadership: Direct and mentor junior-to-senior engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
- Prototype Creation and Testing: Drive prototype creation and oversee rigorous testing to ensure products meet company objectives.
- Product Performance and Reliability: Take ownership of product performance and reliability during post-launch operations.
- Issue Resolution: Support hardware-related issue resolution in a timely and effective manner.
- Design Reviews: Actively participate in design reviews, providing critical feedback and approval for hardware designs and modifications.
