Job Summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group is seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new electronics products to support our refrigeration and comfort cooling business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic circuits for new products and revisions of existing products
  • Manage and supervise board layouts and Bill of Materials
  • Find and approve alternate components
  • Manage and support product qualification testing
  • Create detailed documentation for new products
  • Develop test fixturing and procedures for manufacturing testing
  • Manage product compliance testing at external laboratories and analyze results
  • Provide general engineering support to other departments
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience with electronics lab test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, etc.)
  • Proven track record of electronics design & development
  • Ability to solder & rework SMD components under a microscope
  • Basic knowledge of embedded programming in C / C++
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Quick learner and able to balance multiple tasks
  • Strong experience with PCB CAD tools (Candence Allegro & OrCAD preferred)
  • Experience with UL 60730 family of standards a plus
  • Understanding of principles of refrigeration a plus
