Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer to deliver expert technical support to the NAVY's Exports Program Office. This role is on-site and based in Washington, DC. The engineer will offer specialized technical advice and insights concerning Radio Frequency and Electronic Warfare systems, as well as contribute to the drafting of defense position papers and decision memoranda related to the export of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical, system, or engineering expertise with military technologies and platforms, including radars, IRS systems, electronic warfare, and infrared platforms.
- Assess system utility and operational effectiveness.
- Interpret Department of Defense (DoD) instructions on export policy to formulate recommendations for both DoD and industry regarding export requests, and coordinate export policy with subject matter experts across various DoD branches to ensure compliance.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with diverse DoD entities, intelligence communities, and other stakeholders to meet program requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in exporting, RF/EW technologies.
- Proficiency in policy development, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI required for consideration.
Compensation:
- Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 based on experience and qualifications.
