KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Holders ensure our store is always prepared for customers and are responsible for the following:
- Opening and closing the store (managing alarm systems)
- Preparing cash registers for daily operations.
- Balancing cash registers at the end of the day.
- Preparing deposits and managing safe counts.
- Handling customer service transactions at registers, including overrides, discounts, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
- Acting as Leader on Duty (LOD) when the Store Team Leader or Team Leader is unavailable.
- Ensuring that daily operational tasks are completed as assigned while in the LOD role.
- Resolving customer-related issues while serving in the LOD capacity.
- Executing emergency response procedures as needed when acting in the LOD role.
- Receiving shipments and maintaining accurate logs.
- Preparing balloon orders for the following day.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store (sales floor, counter, backroom, breakroom, restroom, and office).
- Conducting daily audits (opening).
- Reviewing communications on Party Central, including emails and text threads.
- Engaging in frequent physical activity, including kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
