Responsibilities

Express is in search of a Retail Sales Associate.

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding in-store shopping experience for our customers while assisting with various tasks such as restocking, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing merchandise.

Key Responsibilities


• Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting rooms, and stockroom to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all associates and customers.
• Assist with product launches in accordance with company standards.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience by fulfilling all aspects of the customer service model.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately to minimize customer wait times.

• Resolve customer service-related issues promptly and effectively, escalating to management when necessary, and communicate all issues and resolutions to Store Management.


• Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Years of Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 6 months
Skills: Proficient in technology use (iPad, registers)
Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours
Meets physical requirements

Critical Skills & Attributes

• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
