Position Summary:

The Financial Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering analytical support to the Finance and Accounting team, with an emphasis on daily treasury functions. Responsibilities include managing banking relationships, overseeing treasury accounting, generating internal reports, and executing daily cash management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses related to bank accounts and cash flow.
  • Manage bank accounts, including the initiation and closure of accounts, fee analysis compilation, and compliance with KYC regulations.
  • Support initiatives aimed at fraud prevention.
  • Record general ledger entries associated with treasury cash transactions.
  • Conduct research on transactions within banking systems and general ledgers as required.
  • Assist in daily treasury operations, including processing domestic and international wire transfers, monitoring cash activities, and managing regional account fundings for future receivables and payables, mortgage obligations, payroll, etc.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries, issues, and escalated requests.
  • Contribute to treasury operations-related projects that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Assist the Treasury team in preparing documentation for audits.
  • Support investor relations with quarterly distributions and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in multi-entity corporate real estate or financial services is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, foundational financial skills, and intermediate proficiency in utilizing ERP and TMS systems.
  • Ability to represent the company professionally in all interactions with lenders, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Must be organized, deadline-oriented, and demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven responsiveness and ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven environment.
  • Exemplary work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
