Your Role
As a Senior Finance Analyst within our Hotels division, you will be pivotal in the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing team operations by implementing innovative analyses and streamlining processes.
- Delivering insightful financial analyses and commercial recommendations, including the management of the monthly performance reports.
- Collaborating with the FP&A Finance Manager and finance team to maintain a consistent rhythm for deliverables.
- Consolidating reporting and forecasts with a focus on sales, labor, and key metrics.
- Assessing financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
- Leading financial control during month-end close processes and coordinating with management accounting teams.
- Partnering with senior leadership to manage national costs and understand monthly results.
- Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis for operational and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a central contact for the finance team, you will:
- Champion the implementation of GCP reporting across the business.
- Manage relationships with Group Finance Enablement, focusing on new systems and processes.
- Support the preparation and submission of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Review and reconcile budget inputs to ensure alignment with key assumptions.
- Work with stakeholders to identify P&L line items and cost control measures.
- Monitor budgets and targets proactively across all business areas.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- CA/CPA qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills to handle large data sets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- The ability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences.
- Experience with financial systems in a commercial setting, including Excel, SAP, and TM1.
