POSITION SUMMARY: SABG is seeking a full-time Schedule Analyst (Advanced) to provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in various scheduling methodologies.
  • Maintain, update, and report on multiple project schedules.
  • Utilize advanced scheduling software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Open Plan) for schedule creation, analytics, trend analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Advise and support the development of internal scheduling policies and manage project analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and collaborate with stakeholders to gather critical information for schedule development and maintenance.
  • Provide training for basic and intermediate schedulers on industry best practices and scheduling techniques.
  • Prepare expert-level analysis presentations based on program structure and execution, presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Support senior-level meetings, conduct scenario analyses, and assist with special projects as needed.

SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees or certifications may substitute for part of the experience requirement.
  • Over 10 years of direct experience in scheduling and planning, with advanced proficiency in scheduling tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, write reports and business correspondence, and effectively present information. Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Capable of defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to critically assess activities and issues across various functional areas and make informed business decisions.
