Key Responsibilities- Design and implement innovative signal processing algorithms for data analysis and real-time operations.
- Enhance signal processing systems to achieve superior performance and precision.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into comprehensive systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of signal processing systems to guarantee reliability and functionality.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in signal processing methodologies.
- Establish and execute verification and validation strategies for system requirements.
- Review relevant literature, patents, and practices pertinent to assigned projects.
- Define analytical methods, perform independent research, and share findings.
- Assist in the preparation of test documentation for inclusion in evaluation reports.
- Conduct complex investigations, analyses, and tests.
- Perform failure analysis and develop actionable solutions.
- Create and present technical white papers and executive briefings.
- Contribute to the development of technical approaches and roadmaps for programs.
- Support the formulation of technical program plans, identify milestones, and ensure progress aligns with objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in signal processing algorithm development, testing, and evaluation.
- Strong foundation in signal processing, with experience in algorithms, filters, and transformations.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing techniques and their applications.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, including Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), RF communications, measurement techniques, and error correction theory.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, and VHDL.
- Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation capabilities.
- Experience with hardware implementation of signal processing algorithms is advantageous.
