Position Overview:
Facilities Engineers deliver expert engineering solutions to enhance the design, acquisition, construction, operation, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. They oversee and orchestrate significant facility upgrades, renovations, and the establishment of new structures. Their role encompasses all aspects of facility lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead interdisciplinary engineering initiatives to develop and implement projects while maintaining collaborative campus operations and communicating essential information to stakeholders.
  • Assist in campus master planning and integration efforts.
  • Promote a culture of collaborative engagement in alignment with campus charter principles.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship with local garrison and public works departments, as well as regional government entities.
  • Manage task assignments and deliverables to the Program Board and partners, including cost-sharing agreements.
  • Address complex, sensitive, or ambiguous challenges affecting the campus and its partners.
  • Present briefings to senior representatives from the Intelligence Community and other stakeholders.
  • Act as Deputy Program Manager.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on facilities engineering requirements.
  • Lead working groups and leadership teams focused on campus initiatives.

Security Requirements:
As a condition of employment, candidates must meet security standards, including U.S. citizenship, obtaining a Top Secret security clearance, and passing a polygraph test. This position is subject to drug testing and requires direct deposit.

Qualifications:
Applicants must demonstrate experience in critical thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and managing engineering and facilities operations. A degree in Engineering is required, with specific coursework in engineering sciences. Professional registration or licensure as an Engineer Intern, Engineer in Training, or Professional Engineer is preferred. Candidates should also be prepared for physical and environmental requirements associated with the role.
