Position Overview:

We are in search of a Facilities Coordinator to assist in our facilities management efforts. This role is vital in delivering a broad spectrum of operational support services, including facility operations, maintenance, workforce and security support, logistics, and project management across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the construction and renovation of facilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Assist in the creation of cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Work with clients and design teams to finalize project designs.
  • Support the development and execution of space utilization plans.
  • Generate specifications for equipment and furniture installations.
  • Conduct evaluations and follow-ups on projects.
  • Prepare documentation for decision-making processes.
  • Engage in regular updates and meetings regarding construction progress.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of project scope and budget with estimators.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients to foster mutual benefits.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients, vendors, and subcontractors about project activities.
  • Develop corrective action plans when necessary to address project issues.
  • Provide status reports and performance evaluations to clients and management.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility planning with a track record of successful project completion.
  • Strong technical understanding of facility maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with a recognized Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); familiarity with ARCHIBUS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) tools, such as AutoCAD.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with labor unions and service employees under the Service Contract Act.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and relevant regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience managing projects within secure facilities is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
