Job Summary
Vectrus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced High-Voltage/Electrical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all electrical operations, maintenance, and power generation for our NGA Washington electrical system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all electrical operations, maintenance, and power generation for the NGA Washington electrical system.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment and power generation facilities.
- Develop and implement electrical maintenance and repair plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets for electrical operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electrical personnel, including training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical operations and maintenance, with a focus on high-voltage systems.
- Proven track record of managing electrical operations and maintenance teams, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment and power generation facilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications, such as NETA, NICET, or NFPA 70E.
- Experience with electrical testing and inspection, including high-voltage equipment and power generation facilities.
