Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Maintenance Worker with an active TOP SECRET clearance for a facility in Springfield, Virginia. The role requires practical skills and knowledge in various trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs;
  • Inspecting and diagnosing equipment and systems to identify issues;
  • Performing routine maintenance on building systems;
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests;
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
  • Overseeing and coordinating external contractors as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Active TOP SECRET Clearance required, with additional security clearance investigation upon hire;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs;
  • Exceptional customer service skills when interacting with staff and vendors;
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience with CMMS is advantageous but not mandatory.

Normal Work Hours – Monday – Friday (anticipated 40 hours per week).
