Position Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Role Overview:

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for establishing and defining the security architecture for both new and existing IT systems. This role includes coordinating system development activities such as design, modeling, security integration, and formal testing. The engineer will also manage and document system configurations and assist in the deployment of new product features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems engineering and integration support for the Government, focusing on the integration of newly developed capabilities for various environments.
  • Develop and implement processes for integration, staging, and release management of these capabilities.
  • Facilitate the automatic deployment of existing or newly identified services, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products, as well as custom software solutions.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring techniques for IT system activities, translating data into actionable insights to promote data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or 3 additional years of experience in information technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard web service protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST) and cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience in delivering integrated solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in integrating software, COTS, GOTS, and open-source solutions into a cohesive operational framework.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, SQL, Python, BASH, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with security integration in applications and databases.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical certifications such as Network +, Security +, or Cloud Computing.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering and project management.
  • Familiarity with NGA enterprise products.
