The selected candidate will engage in various asset management and procurement activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough inventory assessments and managing property turn-in processes.
- Coordinating shipping of assets and generating Bills of Materials through collaboration with engineering teams.
- Understanding financial implications and the effects of requirement changes on Global Supply Chain Management.
This role necessitates effective cross-program collaboration to ensure seamless operations.
Collaboration and Communication:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Management team to ensure timely execution of material requirements. Strong communication skills are essential for facilitating scrums and addressing challenges efficiently.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in hardware/software procurement and cost management.
- Proficiency in asset tracking, including shipping and disposal processes.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications, particularly in data manipulation.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or willingness to obtain and maintain it.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Defense Courier Services for asset shipment.
- Ability to collaborate with material planners and buyers to enhance cost efficiency and reliability.
- Strong business communication skills and familiarity with Procure to Pay (P2P) applications.
- Knowledge of FAR Part 45 and related property management standards.
Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Work Environment:
This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with a standard 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday.
