Job Summary

Exelixis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Product Management to lead the development and delivery of our SAP platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy, roadmap, and product vision for our Finance, Sourcing, Procurement, and Pharma Supply Chain capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand evolving business needs and build strong relationships.
  • Establish and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer and enterprise needs.
  • Map business needs to technology products and ensure delivery of product roadmap in-line with business priorities and product vision.
  • Lead and run design workshops to holistically map data flows, integrations, and changes for user personas.
  • Ensure Information Security, compliance (Sox, GxP, privacy, etc), supportability, and reliability for the products with adherence to enterprise guidelines.
  • Perform technical reviews to ensure right-fit cross-functional end-to-end design and architecture.
  • Manage budget allocation and financial planning across products and the Veeva platform.
  • Analyze trends and best practices to identify opportunities for new features and improvements across the SAP ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and fifteen years of related experience; or Master's degree in related discipline and thirteen years of related experience; or PhD degree in related discipline and twelve years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in SAP technology product implementation and delivery.
  • Experience in SAP Record to Report Process.
  • Experience in managing team spread across multi-geographical locations.
  • Working experience of SAP Ariba Guided buying and Supplier Management is desired.
  • Experience working on various SAP Finance modules like Financial Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Asset Accounting, and related areas.
  • Experience working on various SAP Supply Chain modules like Logistics, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CPI, SAP Fiori.
  • Experience in GxP and SOX Compliance is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Functional and Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP understanding from a business and technology architecture perspective.
  • Process Expertise: Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Product-based delivery.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate and implement long-term strategies for platform growth and sustainability.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts to a diverse audience.
