The Role
This position is situated within the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where our mission is to empower individuals with diabetes through innovative products that deliver precise data for informed health decisions. We are transforming glucose monitoring with cutting-edge sensing technologies.
Our Strategic Marketing team in this division is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Product Manager to spearhead the launch of groundbreaking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead upstream marketing initiatives, including market research, pricing strategies, launch planning, and collaboration with regional marketing teams to enhance product visibility and sales performance.
- Prepare products for market introduction by coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Technical Product, R&D, Program Management, Quality, and Commercial Marketing.
- Analyze global market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify and optimize product opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive launch plans and deliverables.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with product labeling and documentation standards.
- Generate sales forecasts and collaborate with sales and operations teams to monitor performance against projections.
- Evaluate product performance and customer feedback to inspire new product development.
- Identify necessary product modifications to align with customer needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to implement product changes effectively.
- Adjust strategies to enhance product sales performance.
- Provide ongoing product management support.
- Oversee the entire product life cycle management process.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, business, or marketing; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical device marketing or product management.
