The Opportunity
This role is situated within the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where our mission is to empower individuals with diabetes through innovative products that deliver precise data for informed health decisions. We are transforming glucose monitoring with our cutting-edge sensing technology.
The Strategic Marketing team for our New Medical Sensors is seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior Product Manager to spearhead the launch of groundbreaking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product marketing initiatives, including market research, pricing strategies, launch planning, and collaboration with regional marketing teams to assess sales performance.
- Prepare products for market introduction by coordinating with cross-functional teams including Technical Product, R&D, Program Management, and Quality Assurance.
- Analyze global market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to maximize product opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive launch plans and related deliverables.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with product labeling and documentation standards.
- Forecast sales, collaborate with sales teams, and monitor performance against projections.
- Evaluate product performance and customer feedback to inspire new product concepts.
- Identify necessary product modifications to address customer needs.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement product changes effectively.
- Adjust strategies to enhance product sales performance.
- Provide ongoing product management support.
- Oversee the entire product life cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, business, or marketing; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical device marketing or product management.
