Position Overview:
The Manager of Solutions for Hospitality will be instrumental in transforming client challenges into scalable solution offerings that drive revenue growth and enhance profit margins for our organization.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Belden's technological offerings and a robust capability in crafting business cases. The Manager of Solutions for Hospitality will:

  • Identify and assess new solution opportunities, validate their business viability for Belden, and collaborate with the Solution Architecture and Development teams to prepare for market introduction.

This position is remote, with occasional travel requirements of up to 30%, both domestically and internationally, and will report directly to the VP of Global Solutions Enterprise Solutions.

Your Impact:
In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with clients, vertical sales leaders, and solution consultants to convert customer challenges into marketable solutions that integrate Belden products, software, and third-party services.
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable by incorporating insights from various verticals.
  • Develop solution roadmaps that outline long-term strategies for solution advancement and resource allocation.
  • Create common reference architectures for solutions that facilitate repeatability and highlight gaps in Belden's product offerings for future enhancements.
  • Formulate comprehensive solution launch plans that encompass all necessary commercial and marketing initiatives for success.
  • Support sales, field applications engineering, and solutions consultant teams in developing value propositions, strategic pricing, and overall product/solution support.
  • Establish a long-term vision and strategy for hospitality solutions at Belden.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Engineering; a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in business development, product management, or solution management within telecommunications, IT, or datacom sectors.

Relevant Knowledge:
A strong technical foundation in IT networking technologies and software solutions, including Ethernet IP, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, 5GNR, PON, WDM, etc. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SFDC, DeskPro) is also required.

Key Skills:
A proven track record in a solutions role within the hospitality sector (e.g., hotels, resorts, casinos, theme parks, cruise ships). Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and propose solutions for customer challenges. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Customer-Centric Approach:
Demonstrated ability to effectively present Belden's solutions to a diverse audience, including both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain a high level of responsiveness and exhibit a strong customer orientation.
