About the Role

The Educational Alliance Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Consultant to join our team in Lower Manhattan. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the culture and success of our company.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a passion for creating a positive workplace environment and advancing the mission of values of The Educational Alliance Inc. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief People and Equity Officer and will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated division(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders and managers, providing advice and guidance on people-related issues.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies, programs, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and address employee engagement and performance issues.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build HR capability across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources.
  • 3-5 years' experience in HR-related work.
  • Strong HR generalist background.
  • Experience working with educational programs a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems (ADP preferred).
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
