Senspex, Inc. is currently in search of a Technical Operations Specialist to join our Engineering team.


The Technical Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering professional repair and maintenance solutions for Senspex's advanced products and services, which include thermal imaging systems, video surveillance technologies, electro-mechanical components, and environmental monitoring devices. This position requires expertise in supporting the assembly, installation, and testing of sensor systems, as well as the construction and maintenance of electrical systems and components. Utilizing diagnostic tools, the specialist will assess and modify electronic components to ensure compliance with specified standards. Furthermore, this role involves reviewing system designs, collaborating with both internal teams and external clients on technical initiatives, and assisting in the integration of hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize a collaborative approach to plan, design, and develop comprehensive system solutions, conducting analyses to enhance system architecture.Conduct field operations to implement sensor network solutions, including setup, configuration, and commissioning of various electronic devices.Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate camera and network systems, ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruptions.Install and program computer hardware or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems.Assess customer and operational requirements to define system performance criteria and ensure compatibility across all interfaces.

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong background in networking and field engineering.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Ability to apply basic systems engineering principles to resolve issues.Experience in creating process-driven documentation and managing project requirements.Preferred training in equipment operation, electrical systems, and radio communications.Capability to troubleshoot and identify root causes, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Willingness to travel up to 50% for site assessments and installations.

Additional Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.National security clearance may be required; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.Must provide acceptable identification as per the REAL ID Act.
