This part-time role involves three 8-hour shifts and can be paired with another part-time position at Sprouts Farmers Market. The Schematic Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of the Non-Perishable Schematic within their designated store. This position is responsible for executing weekly resets and facilitating speed-to-shelf initiatives, adhering to all company schematic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary schematic liaison within the store, providing updates to the Store Manager, NP ASM, Scan Coordinator, and Department Managers regarding reset modifications.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of store resets and projects for Non-Perishable Departments, including Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, HBA, and Vitamins.
- Foster a vibrant selling culture and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring product categories are arranged according to store schematics.
- Collaborate with Scan Coordinators, Department Managers, and NP ASM to maintain schematic compliance and ensure new products are accurately positioned and available for purchase.
- Execute weekly Reset/STS activities as directed by the Support Office.
- Ensure schematics are implemented in alignment with internal policies and procedures.
- Obtain approval from the Store Manager, NP ASM, or Department Managers to confirm the completion and accuracy of work.
- Provide prompt feedback to the Support Office Schematic Department regarding any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-3 months of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for evaluating the total reset program and maintaining necessary reports and schedules.
- Excellent mathematical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
- Must demonstrate a friendly demeanor with a positive attitude, capable of interacting effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to read schematics and price tags, accurately hang price tags and signage. Good vision is necessary for reading and setting schematics. Competence in using a stapler, scanner, and computer to activate new schematics is also required, along with the ability to use a step ladder.
- Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. and walk distances of up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for extended periods.
