Overview:

This role is dedicated to delivering foundational training on Level 1 3 equipment and modules to both employees and clients. The position involves the execution of maintenance training programs, adhering to EVG standards, on customer equipment. Collaboration with the EVG Academy team is essential for the development and documentation of new training-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this position, the individual must effectively carry out the primary responsibilities outlined below:

  1. Provide training to internal and external clients on EVG equipment.
  2. Offer technical support for local training apparatus.
  3. Plan and prepare technical courses for various audiences.
  4. Manage and monitor course completions and gather customer feedback through our learning management system.
  5. Develop training materials based on local challenges and requirements.
  6. Coordinate updates to training content with the Documentation team and assist in the creation of new procedures.
  7. Track all Field Service Engineer (FSE) training sessions and organize module training for new FSEs accordingly.
  8. Assess the onsite knowledge of FSEs and create additional training plans as necessary.
  9. Perform tasks with minimal supervision while mentoring and providing technical guidance to onsite FSEs.
  10. Occasionally support service and installations at various customer locations to stay updated with new equipment and software features.

Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:

  1. A minimum of an associate degree or bachelor's degree along with at least three (3) years of experience with EVG equipment, or 6-10 years of experience in installing or repairing semiconductor or electronic production machinery.
  2. Extensive experience in operating and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar systems.
  3. Proficient in English with strong organizational, communication, rhetorical, and didactic skills, coupled with high social competence.
  4. Preferred experience or education as a trainer in a technical setting.
  5. Ability to qualify maintenance personnel based on standard PM + CM procedures and on-site issues.
  6. Familiarity with customer equipment and processes.
  7. Assist in establishing a unified understanding and operational procedures across EVG HQ, EVG NA, and Intel technicians.

Physical Requirements:

  1. While performing the duties of this position, the individual is frequently required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary. The individual must frequently use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and occasionally reach above shoulder level.
  2. Must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and work within the fab/cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time.
