Job Summary

The Human Resources Clerk will serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and external partners. This role involves maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases. The ideal candidate will have experience with HR procedures and the ability to multitask administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases, including tracking employee leave and absences
  • Prepare monthly employee census reports for leadership
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries about HR-related matters
  • Act as a resource for payroll and HR contacts to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by HR leadership
  • Perform clerical functions, such as photocopying and scanning documents
  • Order company supplies and ensure accurate distribution
  • Prepare new-employee files and maintain employee records
  • Assist with the recruiting process, including posting job openings and tracking applicants
  • Provide onboarding and employee assistance
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in human resources or a related field, or four years of related experience
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn HRIS, benefit, and payroll systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.
