About the Role

The Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the acquisition of essential healthcare supplies and equipment. This vital position requires strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as proficiency in supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that meet the needs of our medical center
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for our organization
  • Selecting and managing vendors to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
  • Evaluating product specifications and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Four years of prior experience in purchasing, coupled with a working knowledge of supply chain management principles
  • Proven experience with supplier negotiations, selection, management, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer
  • Strong knowledge of Value Analysis processes
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
