Procurement Specialist for Healthcare Supplies

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain management to oversee the procurement of healthcare supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure optimal outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating the procurement process, from initial requisition to delivery. This includes identifying and selecting suitable suppliers, evaluating products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to inform procurement decisions and optimize cost savings.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration or related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 4 years in purchasing or supply chain management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
Rutland Regional Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
