Position Overview

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage with over four decades of experience, specializes in providing comprehensive Personal, Commercial, and Group Benefits insurance solutions. This position involves managing client accounts within the Benefits Account Management team. The role is client-facing, requiring interaction with clients, producers, and insurance carriers. Responsibilities encompass the entire process from initial quotes and estimates to conducting presentations and open enrollment sessions, negotiating with carriers, and equipping clients with the necessary tools to manage their employee benefits effectively. Additionally, the role includes assisting clients with claims and other inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the renewal process for a designated portfolio of clients
  • Engage in negotiations with insurance carriers
  • Advise on modifications to plan designs
  • Facilitate communication regarding cross-selling and upselling opportunities

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Benefits Account Management
  • Familiarity with Fully Funded Plans; experience with Level and Self-Insured plans is advantageous but not mandatory

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, including a comprehensive benefits package with employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time Off. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
