Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Hotel Manager to join our team at San Francisco (Growth) - Highgate Hotels. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top clients, meeting with on-site contacts, and hosting events.
  • Cost Control: Tour operating departments daily, making adjustments as needed via department heads.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Conduct weekly staff meetings, including training sessions and review of sales and operations efforts.
  • Financial Management: Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs in a timely fashion.
  • Leadership Development: Hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and develop managers for future advancement.
  • Employee Relations: Ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees, maintain a positive team-oriented environment, and adhere to all Highgate Hotel policies and procedures.
  • Property Maintenance: Inspect rooms regularly, ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
  • Financial Forecasting: Forecast monthly the hotel's financial position, by estimating revenues and line-by-line expenses.
  • Human Resources: Prepare and conduct all management interviews, follow hiring procedures, and perform performance appraisals according to Highgate Hotel S.O.P.s.
Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years progressive experience in a hotel.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations.
What We Offer

Salary range: $100k - $140k/annual
