About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Service Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) team, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with key customers and field team members, performing highly complex diagnostic procedures, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Communication: Maintain effective communications with key customers and field team members to ensure product enhancements/improvements are complete and accurate.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform highly complex diagnostic procedures to identify issues and drive the development, planning, and implementation of effective corrective actions for field issues involving mechanical and electrical EACS products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports for senior leadership displaying interpreted test information to resolve design/system related problems and to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as the expert in product knowledge/subject and communicate technical information to technical/non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that key customers and field teams are kept informed on outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
  • Interface Management: Act as customer and field service interface and drive improvements based on end user experience.
  • Corrective Actions: Perform corrective actions for field issues, special investigations, and product testing.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Drive special investigations internally and with partners, gather field data and assist in root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person: U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience driving the development, planning, and implementation of timely and effective corrective actions for field issues involving electronic products.
  • Aerospace Experience: Experience with aerospace products/systems, mechanical and/or electronic control system products required.
  • EACS or AMS Knowledge: EACS or Air management systems (AMS) product or system knowledge.
  • Aftermarket Experience: Aftermarket experience.
  • Engineering Degree: Degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
  • Communication Skills: Experience communicating with all levels of a technical organization (executive to technician).
