Your Role:

In this position, you will be part of a dedicated engineering team focused on the design, development, and verification of real-time embedded software. Your contributions will ensure the safety and reliability of our systems, directly impacting the experiences of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team environment to engage in the full life-cycle development of software control systems.
  • Enhance systems and software engineering processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with certification authorities and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Coordinate tasks and manage software design, development, and verification activities.
  • Review software requirements to guarantee alignment with customer expectations.
  • Implement software requirements utilizing design models and proprietary coding languages.
  • Conduct reviews of software design and code to ensure adherence to established requirements.
  • Generate and evaluate test scripts and data to support software verification efforts.
  • Prepare documentation necessary for aerospace certification processes.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Contribute to the growth of our software engineering team, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in software requirements and verification for complex aerospace systems.
  • Familiarity with aerospace certification standards, including DO-178.
  • Proficiency in simulation, scripting, test automation, and documentation tools (e.g., Veristand/LabView, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, DOORS).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in presenting technical information.
  • Background in the aerospace industry.
