Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to join our Oncology Department at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
- Coordinate clinical calls with physicians, responding to patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage physician schedules, ensuring seamless coordination of patient appointments and follow-up tests.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical terminology preferred.
- Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel required.
- Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to operate general office equipment.
- Ability to read and write in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Minimum three years' experience in a related healthcare field or medical assistant certification preferred.
This is a full-time position in a general office environment with frequent patient contact. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
