The Legal Recruiting Assistant will be an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This role involves providing essential administrative assistance to the Legal Recruiting Coordinators and the Legal Recruiting Manager, focusing on the organization and execution of the summer associate program, as well as supporting the firm's hiring initiatives for 1L, 2L, and 3L candidates.
Additionally, the Assistant will facilitate the onboarding process for fall associates.Key Responsibilities:
Legal Recruitment Support
• Offer comprehensive assistance to the Legal Recruiting Coordinators and Legal Recruiting Manager
• Help coordinate and manage all facets of the summer associate program, including events, training sessions, and materials preparation
• Aid in the onboarding and orientation process for summer associates as needed
• Attend summer associate program events as required
• Maintain the summer associate work assignment board
• Assist in the administration of summer associate evaluations at mid-summer and end-of-summer
• Act as a representative of the firm
• Support the organization of 1L and rising 2L events and sponsorships
• Compile materials for on-campus recruiting and manage post-OCI callback processes
• Prepare materials for hiring meetings and assist with follow-up tasks
• Help schedule interviews as necessary
• Organize and manage the NALP shared expense reimbursement process
• Complete law school hiring outcome surveys
• Track and file incoming resumes while maintaining recruiting databases
• Ensure the LawCruit database is accurate and up-to-date
• Maintain the NetDocs file management system with complete records
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for fall associates
• Conduct office tours for summer associates, fall associates, and lateral associates
• Monitor inventory of marketing materials and order additional supplies as needed for recruitment purposes
• Be prepared to work overtime as requested, particularly during peak months
• Collaborate effectively across teams and departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned or as necessary based on judgment.

Compensation may vary by location.
In New York City, the estimated target salary range for this position is $57,000 - $72,000, along with bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
Salary decisions are influenced by various factors, including market conditions and the candidate's skills, experience, educational background, and graduation year.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with databases (LawCruit) is a plus.
