The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) serves as a global think-tank dedicated to promoting the use of blockchain technology in addressing climate change challenges.

We are in search of enthusiastic VOLUNTEERS who can cultivate professional relationships with various stakeholders and create opportunities for the growth of our organization.

In this unpaid voluntary position, the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator will assist the Recruitment Manager and the Assistant Director-General (Operations) with essential administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance for recruitment processes;
  • Engage with BCI members concerning HR and recruitment policies;
  • Support the Recruitment Manager in ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations;
  • Contribute administrative support to the Recruitment team and BCI Operations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in HR Administration is preferred;
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Proficient writing skills in English;
  • Attention to detail is crucial;
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiarity with topics relevant to BCI, such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology is advantageous.

Educational Background:

  • A degree or training in HR, Business, Climate Change, or Environmental Science is desirable but not mandatory.

Relevant Experience:

  • Demonstrated capability in organizational or business administration;
  • Experience in fostering constructive relationships with stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to advance projects using initiative.

Section B: Situational Judgment Test (20 multiple-choice questions)

Section C: In-Tray Exercise (An open-ended assessment relevant to the role's responsibilities)

Successful candidates will be invited for a phone screening, followed by interviews conducted online.
