Job Overview

Women In Need, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Volunteer Services Department, you will be responsible for the administration and management of volunteer programs, in-kind donations, and other projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training, onboarding, and supervision of volunteers, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
  • Develop and implement volunteer programs, including outreach to individual and group volunteers, program design, promotion, and evaluation.
  • Manage relationships with volunteers, including corporate and non-profit groups, to provide impactful and fulfilling experiences for everyone involved.
  • Foster close relationships with Win Programs, Development, and Operations staff to ensure a collaborative and effective approach to volunteer engagement.
  • Ensure that all volunteer programs and in-kind donations adhere to best practices of trauma-informed care and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Commitment to Win's mission, vision, and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple projects at once and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Canva, with experience with Salesforce and other software a plus.
  • Previous volunteer and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree preferred.
