Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Appointment Scheduling: Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment schedules, communicating changes to staff and physicians as needed.
  • Front Desk Operations: Coordinate the check-in process, ensuring quality services are provided in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Telephone Management: Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages and referring callers to the appropriate personnel.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, adhering to NEMG policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform daily activities, including message retrieval, filing, photocopying, and mail sorting.
  • Financial Management: Collect and reconcile co-pay collections, adhering to NEMG policy and procedures.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, contributing to individual team and department goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of administrative healthcare experience or 2 years of administrative office experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills required. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
