At Yale New Haven Health, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Practice Administrative Associate to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care and physician activity to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date appointment schedules, making adjustments as needed to accommodate changing patient needs.
  • Communicate schedule changes to relevant staff members and physicians/providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional patient service by greeting patients upon arrival, verifying and obtaining necessary information and signatures, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Answer telephone calls in a friendly and efficient manner, taking accurate messages and referring callers to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and systems to manage schedules and communicate with staff and patients.
