About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join AXIS Capital, a leading global provider of specialty lines insurance and reinsurance, as a Strategic Broker Relationship Manager. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to drive enterprise engagement, develop, and execute initiatives to position AXIS as a market leader in North American specialty retail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of North American Distribution Retail in developing national broker strategies, while owning local broker strategies to achieve profitable growth.
  • Lead broker engagement for assigned brokers and establish a performance framework for each, supporting efforts to execute goals locally consistent with national commitments from brokers.
  • Collaborate across the organization, including business units and executive leaders, to develop and drive growth plans to advance AXIS's market share, visibility, and relationship with broker partners.
  • Support the Head of North American Distribution Retail as the Strategic Broker Manager for key broker relationships.
  • Build a holistic management of strategic partnership framework for brokers, including production results, engagement plans, and execution of key deliverables.
  • Develop and communicate plans with brokers to ensure alignment.
  • Maintain consistent market presence with regular broker engagement, including virtual and in-person visitation and travel.
  • Collect and share key broker intelligence to accurately align growth opportunities.
  • Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving problems within scope of responsibility and influence upward and downward.
  • Advanced data analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Support Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system activities by providing relevant client insights and information; Be a champion for the utilization of the CRM system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with at least three (3) years in an external producer-facing business development role within the insurance industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
What We Offer

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $215,000 - $265,000. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of various factors, including your specific experience and work location. In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
