Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview:
  • Handle a significant volume of incoming communications from clients, agents, and internal teams
  • Investigate and address client inquiries with initiative and sound judgment
  • Proactively suggest solutions and alternatives to meet client requirements
  • Process electronic premium transactions and manage various billing activities
  • Acquire a fundamental understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance
  • Collaborate across multiple systems to effectively fulfill client requests
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with agents, policyholders, and internal collaborators
  • Provide mentorship to team members as necessary
  • Exhibit outstanding communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines while working independently and as part of a team
  • Assist in evaluating new initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a professional client service setting
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule during standard business hours
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to actively listen and respond to client needs
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Analytical, comprehension, and numerical skills
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
  • Adaptability to change and strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
  • Exceptional skills in customer interaction and conflict resolution
