- Guide potential and current members in selecting the most suitable insurance plans, facilitating informed decisions on both Marketplace and off-Marketplace options.
- Engage professionally with brokers, customers, and colleagues from various departments, ensuring clear and respectful communication.
- Assist fellow representatives with their client portfolios as necessary, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and internal compliance standards.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and healthcare reforms, advising brokers and individual plan applicants on how these developments impact the individual plan market.
- Accurately input data and update the sales automation system to ensure timely and precise information management.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience in an insurance agent's office or health insurance marketplace, particularly in Utah, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine willingness to assist and listen to clients.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service, including retail or upselling roles, is beneficial.
- Basic proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications, along with the ability to navigate internet-based systems.
- Familiarity with eligibility systems such as Facets software is a plus.
