About the Role

Univar Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accountant II to join our Accounting Department in Dublin, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing profit and loss statements to ensure accuracy and comparability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, researching outstanding items and determining appropriate action.
  • Review and evaluate financial statements for precision and comparability, adjusting as necessary.
  • Maintain accrual accounting and prepare special analysis as requested by business partners.
  • Prepare and enter manual and uploaded journal entries for month-end close.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as requested.
  • Review the administrative procedural manual, keeping current with the Administrative Procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 2+ years accounting experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong spreadsheet and word processing PC skills, including Windows applications.
  • Experience using ERP software (such as SAP, Lawson, or Oracle).
  • Blackline experience a plus.
