Palo Alto, California, United States Raymond Laboratory of Neurobiology at Stanford University Full time
Investigator Position in Synaptic Plasticity

The Raymond Laboratory of Neurobiology at Stanford University is currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to study the neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory. As a member of our research group, you will participate in investigations into the fundamental rules governing synaptic plasticity and how different timescales of plasticity and consolidation contribute to learning.

Recent findings suggest that metaplasticity plays a critical role in improving the learning process, specifically in metalearning. You will contribute to advancing our understanding of this complex phenomenon.

This is an excellent opportunity for postdoctoral researchers to join a dynamic team of investigators, gain expertise in state-of-the-art methodologies, and advance their careers. A PhD in neuroscience or a related field is essential, and although experience with electrophysiology is desirable, it is not mandatory. The principal investigator is committed to fostering a supportive environment and helping you achieve your scientific goals. Your annual salary will be approximately $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with your qualifications.
